A graduate in law and social sciences, William trained and qualified as a solicitor before becoming a partner at a well-known law firm in the City of London. He then gained further invaluable international experience working at one of the Caribbean’s leading law firms. He subsequently acted as general counsel for privately held companies based in London with American and Middle Eastern owners, going on to establish Kanaan Legal in 2007.

William is qualified as:

 

• a Solicitor of the Supreme Court, England & Wales (admitted 1994);

​

• an Attorney at Law, Grand Court of the Cayman Islands (2001); and

​

• an Attorney and Counsellor at Law, New York (2003).  

Over the years, William's experience has extended to advising a diverse range of clients on a wide variety of issues involving various jurisdictions in the Middle East, North and South America, the Caribbean, Africa and Europe.
